Passion The Key Ingredient for Securing the Job of Your Dreams
Passion The Key Ingredient for Securing the Job of Your Dreams Photo CreditIf thereâs anything I can take from my career experiences so far, itâs that passion is the key ingredient for success.I have struggled and ended up in the wrong places, but passion also brought me back to where I needed to be. This post might end up being a bit more autobiographical than Iâd like it to be, but hopefully, you can take some motivation from it.Hereâs why I think passion is such a key ingredient.evalWeâve all worked in jobs where we didnât really care what we were doing. Money is money, right?Thatâs true to an extent, but some of us have more willpower than others. Iâll put my hands up and say that I donât have much willpower if I donât enjoy what Iâm doing. Iâll do it, but it wonât be my best work. Iâm sure weâve all felt that way at some point.Whatâs missing here? Passion. If you love what you do, youâll have the passion and drive to succeed. Suddenly, it no longer becomes a job or hard work; itâs something you enjoy doing . You donât even give a second thought to how much effort youâre putting in because you really donât mind that youâre doing it.Thatâs all well and good, but not everyone can find the job of their dreams, right? There are certainly barriers to entry, but that doesnât mean you canât give it a go.Firstly, you need to figure what it is that you want to do with your life. It took me years to figure out my passions, and I only stumbled upon them by chance.evalHowever, there are plenty of Career Advisors Counsellors out there that can try and make the decision easier for you. They can analyze your skills and see what youâre best suited to, and you might come across something you hadnât anticipated.Once youâve got that idea in mind, all youâve got to do is work towards it. This is where you need to take things one day at a time and keep that goal in mind. First and foremost, it is important to go and acquire those skills either by learning or practice.Letâs look at s ome examples here.If you wanted to enter into the Sales Professionl â" though it is not mandatory, it will definitely help obtaining some Professional Sales Training. It will show your prospective employers that you are serious about your career. If you wanted to enter Alternative Healthcare or Kinesiology â" a course or training in Massage Therapy might be an option. If you wanted to be a Forklift operator, then courses such as TCE offer beginner and experienced forklift training courses will give you a heads up over others.By equipping yourself with those kinds of skills, youâll be more valuable to potential employers. Educate yourself in any way you can, and seek out any opportunities to get involved as a volunteer. It might mean working a separate job and volunteering on the side for a while. If youâre willing to do this, your chances of landing that dream job will improve day-by-day.evalBut, it all comes back to that key ingredient: passion. If any of this sounds like labori ous and boring work, you havenât found what you really want to do.If it comes naturally and you donât even think about how difficult it might be, youâve found something you really love. That doesnât mean itâll come easily and you wonât get frustrated from time-to-time, but youâll keep going.I wish you the best of luck in finding something that gives you the passion for succeeding.
